The National Electrical Grid is the key factor in all of our critical infrastructures. The grid is exposed daily to very real risks that, if (or when) they occur have the potential to wipe out civilisation as we know it. Despite the grave risks and the warnings of many experts, the grid remains unprotected thanks to the politics of effecting the needed changes. In the meantime, the risk has been passed on to you and me.
